Microsoft is a leading player in the Education field with technology. The new Hololens, slated for 2019, will take major leaps to bringing wearable devices in the classroom. Microsoft is already partnered with Pearson and Lifeliqe to create curriculum compatible with Hololens.

At 20$ per unit, Google has created a low cost way to bring VR into the classroom. Any Smartphone device can download the Google Cardboard App and take advantage of their many free education VR activities.

Apple has a patent, and is currently working on creating AR glasses that are rumoured to be announced in 2019. Apple currently has significant investments in the Education market.
